If you have upgraded to Windows 7 you may have noticed how sleek and speedy it is, however if your fortunate enough to have an iPhone you may also notice that every time you plug it in, Windows will ask you what you want to do with the camera! Heres a quick guide to tell it what to do once and for all.The first step is to open your control panel and click “Hardware and Sound”
Once that is selected, you will be presented with a list of options relating to hardware, select the “Change default settings for media or devices”
Finally, scroll down to find your iPhone as a device, and select the option “Take no action”
Thats it! Windows 7 will no longer ask you what to do each time, of course you can do the same thing with any other devices windows needs actions for, or even set a different default action such as opening in windows explorer.
